Two $1 million guaranteed events highlight WPT500 Online Festival Schedule

The 17-day festival is anchored by a duo of $1 million guaranteed events, each with nine starting flights.

The $530 buy-in WPT500 runs nine Day 1 flights, with one opening-day flight running on each day from March 7-15. The last of those Day1 flights takes place in a turbo structure format on March 15.

Players making it through the Day 1 flights then return for Day 2 evening action on March 15. The tournament plays down to a final table from there, with the final eight players returning on Tuesday, March 16 to play down to a champion.

The second of the $1 million guaranteed events uses an identical format but plays as a progressive knockout tournament. The $530 buy-in WPT500 Knockout PKO runs nine starting flights, one per day from March 15-23.

The last of those Day 1 flights plays out on March 23, with Day 2 action kicking off later that day. Day 2 then plays to a final table, with the tournament resuming on Tuesday, March 23, and playing down to a champion.

A pair of smaller buy-in tournaments run parallel to each of the $1 million guaranteed events. The $55 buy-in Super50 $250,000 Guaranteed runs nine Day 1 flights March 7-15, with Day 2 commencing in the evening on March 15.

That tournament plays to its own final table on Day 2, with qualifiers coming back to play down to a champion on Tuesday, March 16.

The $55 buy-in Super50 Knockout PKO $400,000 Guaranteed runs with nine Day 1 flights, all of which run concurrently with the $530 WPT500 Knockout PKO. The Super50 Knockout Day 2 flight begins March 22 and plays to its final table, which reconvenes Tuesday, March 23.

Playing at partypoker

The WPT500 plays out on the partypoker international poker client. Partypoker is accessible from many areas of the world, but isn’t legally offered in the U.S.

Players in the U.S. have access to a partypoker-branded online poker site in New Jersey, but that site doesn’t connect to any other player pools outside of the Garden State.

If you’re in an area that legally allows access to the partypoker international client, go to partypoker.com and click on the “Download Now” tab to download the online poker software.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll find all tournaments on the WPT500 schedule by clicking the tab with the WPT logo at the top of the lobby. From there, click on any tournament listed in the filtered search results, and details on buy-in, guarantee, structure, and tournament dates will appear on the right side of the lobby.
