Live tournament festival runs through March 14 in Hollywood, FL

The aptly-named Escalator V series offers four big weekends of poker tournament action, with each weekend’s major tournament awarding an escalating prize pool.

The Escalator V Series kicked off at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood on Feb. 17, and the first weekend’s play centered around a $150 buy-in, $50,000 guaranteed event.

Three more weekends of poker tournaments remain to play out at the Escalator V Series, with each weekend promising more guaranteed prize money than the week before.

Based in Hollywood, FL, the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood stands as one of the biggest live tournament hubs on the United States east coast. The latest tournament series emanating from the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood saw the guarantee far exceeded for the first leg of the Escalator V festival.

The $150 buy-in, $50,000 guaranteed tournament drew 907 entries, pushing the final prize pool to more than double the guarantee at $108,840. The final three events in the four-part series could very well see the same trend, as the Escalator V festival is emerging as a popular poker series so far.

Here’s a look at the remaining schedule for the Escalator V Series, including details on registration and accommodations:

Escalator V tournament flights and event structure

Each of the three remaining Escalator V tournaments offer six starting flights, with the surviving players from those flights coming back and playing down to a champion on Day 2.

Week 2, Week 3, and Week 4 use an identical flight structure. Wednesday and Thursday action offers two starting flights, starting at 10 am and 6 am. Friday and Saturday schedules run one starting flight each.

All players making it through from the six starting flights return on Sunday, playing down to a champion. Each tournament offers unlimited re-entry, with late registration available through Level 7. The tournaments are capped at 120 unique entries.

Registration for each tournament is only available on-site at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Poker Room. For more information on the poker room and the Escalator V Series, visit the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Poker Room blog.
