Peter Tran wins The Finale

Event #13 $400 The Finale champion Peter Tran Event #13 $400 The Finale champion Peter Tran

The final ring of the WSOP Circuit series at Thunder Valley has been awarded to Peter Tran of Elk Grove, California, for his win over a field of 120 entries for $10,193, his first WSOP Circuit ring, and a $5,000 package to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.

Tran's win came after a stacked final table that included a pair of WSOP Circuit ring winners, three-handed in third-place finisher Travis Egbert, and runner-up Brandon Zuidema.

Tran took control three-handed and used his stack to finish off his highly accomplished opponents to join them as WSOP trophy winners. His previous best result in a WSOP Circuit event came here last fall when he was the runner-up in the $400 Monster Stack event.

Here's a look at how the final table finished up:

Noel Rodriguez has added to his lengthy list of accomplishments with his first WSOP Circuit ring, taking down Event #12: $3,250 High Roller.

The win comes over a stacked field of 56 entries for $53,076, a nice win, but far from his career best of over $1,100,000 for a runner-up finish in a $25,000 WSOP High Roller last summer in Las Vegas.

Here's a look at how the final table played out as Rodriguez defeated recent WSOP bracelet winner Tyler Patterson heads-up for the title.
