Action is heating up in the flagship event of the series here at the 2026 Borgata Spring Poker Open. So far, the $2,700 Championship event has recorded 544 entries, with 164 players advancing to Day 2 from one of three starting flights. Today, those players return at noon local time, and with registration still open until the start of play today, several more players are expected to hop in at the last minute.

Full start-of-day chip counts and the Day 2 seat draw are available at this link. Leading the field to start the day is Frank Marasco, who finished Flight B with 695,000. Here's a breakdown of the top ten stacks to start the day:

    Action is set to resume on Level 11, featuring blinds of 1,500/2,500 (2,500). The plan is to play 10 hour-long levels, with a 15-minute break after every 2 levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 16. Prize pool information will be available shortly after registration closes. 

    The $580 Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty also kicks off today with Flight A, the first of four starting flights. Here's all the details you need to know for the $250,000 guarantee event:

    • Players start with 60,000 chips (200 bb)
    • Blind levels increase every 30 minutes on Flights A and C, every 25 minutes on Flight B, and every 20 minutes on Flight D
    • Each Day 1 flight plays down to 12.5% of the field (rounded up)
    • All players returning for Day 2 are considered in the money
    • Late registration and unlimited reentries available until the start of Level 13
    • Mystery Bounties begin at the start of Day 2
    • A 15-minute break will be provided for every two hours of play. A dinner break will be scheduled at some point during Day 2 at the tournament director's discretion

    The third and final starting flight of the $2,700 Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship drew a 300-entry field, bringing the total attendance to 544 so far. The $1,000,000 guarantee has already been surpassed, with the prize pool currently at $1,305,600 and registration still open until the start of Day 2, tomorrow at noon.
