Running from February 2-17, the Bounty Builder Series returns to PokerStars with two Main Events among its 169 progressive knockout (PKO) tournaments. Buy-ins will range from $5.50 all the way up to $5,200.
PKO tourneys are particularly attractive to many for the way they can spread prize money across a broader section of the field. In other words, you don’t need to make it past the bubble in order to win cash - every time you eliminate a player you’ll win half their bounty, with the other half added to your own bounty. You could knock out a player in the very first hand and boom, you’ve bagged yourself a slice of the prize pool. Win the tournament, and you'll also win your own bounty.
Two Main Events, two special Sunday Millions
Each event in the Bounty Builder Series is a PKO, and the weekly Sunday Million tournaments held during the series will also feature a twist: the $109 Sunday Million on February 2 will run as a PKO, while the same event on February 9 will be a mystery bounty with a $215 buy-in.
February 16 will see two Main Events for the series take place, with buy-ins of $109 and $1,050. Each will feature a guaranteed prize pool of at least $1 million.
With a wide range of bankrolls catered to, other selected highlights of the series include:
