The World Series of Poker has released the dates and schedule of events for this autumn's WSOP Europe festival, which will return to King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, for a 22-day run beginning in September. The 2024 WSOP Europe series will begin on September 18, 2024, and wrap up action on October 9.
The 2024 edition of WSOP Europe will offer 15 official bracelet events and more than €15 million in guarantees. One third of that, or €5 million, will be guaranteed prize money for the WSOP Europe Main Event NHL European Championship, which will get underway with the first of mutiple starting flights on October 4.
The Main Event offers a €10,350 buy-in and will be heavily supported by satellite qualifiers into the October 4 Day 1A opening flight. Just-released promotional material shows thay the WSOP and King's expect at least 400 qualfiers to be among those at the tables for that first starting flight.
Six events to offer guarantees of at least €1 million
Besides the Main Event, five additional bracelet events at the 2024 WSOP Europe series will offer guaranteed prize pools of at least €1 million. Those five are topped by the minimum €1.5 million to be awarded in the series' "Mini Main" and "Colossus" events early in the series.
