The 888poker LIVE Tour will descend on Manchester in the United Kingdom, a city perhaps better known for its soccer teams (Manchester United and Manchester City) and rock n' roll stars (Oasis, Joy Division) than its poker offerings.
From August 14 - 25, however, Manchester will be awash with poker players from all corners of the world. More specifically, the Grosvenor Casino on Bury New Road will play host to a number of events across a wide range of buy-in levels.
With multiple events playing out each day, there's no doubt that the action in Manchester will be at an all-time high for the final stop on the 888poker LIVE Tour. A few of the highlights of the schedule include a £440 Mystery Bounty and £100 Ladies Event to kick off proceedings.
From there, the £340 Big Shot, the £250 Mayhem, and the £330 Mega Knockout take players into the 888poker LIVE Manchester Main Event, which offers four Day 1 starting flights. For £1,100, players receive a 30,000 chip starting stack and will play 40-minute levels on Day 1 A+B+C, while the Day 1D Turbo flight players will play expedited 20-minute levels. On Day 2, levels increase to 60 minutes and the remaining players will play to a final table or through ten levels.
Notably, all two-day events on the schedule will introduce a shot clock of 30 seconds for Day 2 onwards.
Additionally, a number of the 888poker ambassadors will take their seats amongst the other hopefuls, including PokerOrg columnist Nick 'Easty' Eastwood and influencer/online personality JaackMaate.
