Americas Cardroom, the flagship skin of the Winning Poker Network, has released details for its upcoming Mini Online Super Series (MOSS), which begins on Sunday, June 4. While the MOSS often runs as the first of three legs of ACR's long-running Online Super Series (OSS) Cub3d, it's also offered on occasion as a standalone series, and that's what's in store this time out. Overall, this edition of the MOSS will offer a record $6.4 million in guaranteed prize money.
The June 4 kickoff is just a tease, however, as that's when opening Day 1 flights begin for the MOSS's Main Event. The heart of the series, which features big-field turnouts with low- and micro-stakes buy-ins as inexpensive as $0.27, actually starts on June 11 and runs through June 26, when survivors of the opening flights combine for a Day 2 finale.
The MOSS's highlight, naturally is the Main Event, which offers five starting days and multiple flights each day, all spread throughout the series. The tourney is available for a $109 buy-in and will offer a million-dollar prize pool. And though it's the star of the series, it's not the only headline-maker being offered under the MOSS banner.
The series includes four separate "main" events, and there's also the "Dream," which dangles a $100,000 guaranteed pool and $15,000 guaranteed winner's prize for just a $2.50 buy-in. Then there's the first-ever MOSS Mystery Bounty tourney, which features a $500,000 guarantee and a $22 entry. The top mystery bounty will be $50,000.
