For the second year in a row, America's Cardroom will host a charity tournament recognizing International Women's Day.
Wednesday, March 8th at 4:30pm, ACR will run the event to benefit the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF).
The $55 tournament has a $10K guaranteed prize pool. The winning players will keep the prize pool, and ACR will match the total prize pool as a donation to UBCF. ACR has promised to give female registrants a $55 tournament ticket for their participation.
As the tournament runs, ACR Team Pros Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenny will join Nikki Limo and Caitlin Comesky on the ACR Twitch channel. They plan to discuss the importance of breast self-examinations and their own experiences as women.
A win-win collaboration building off past success
Ebony Kenney said, "I'm so pleased ACR is running another charity tournament to help raise funds for the United Breast Cancer Foundation. I am passionate about supporting this charity because I particularly love that they offer holistic approaches to healing and helping as many cancer survivors as possible."
In October 2022, ACR hosted a similar tournament that raised more than $15,000 for UBCF. Funds donated from this year's tournament will go towards supporting families and individuals dealing with breast cancer.
