Michael ‘The Grinder’ Mizrachi has been unveiled as GGPoker’s newest Global Ambassador, joining a star-studded team that includes Daniel Negreanu and Fedor Holz.
The signing follows an extraordinary summer in which Mizrachi won both the $50,000 Poker Players Championship (for a record fourth time) and the $10,000 Main Event at the 2025 World Series of Poker — a double that may never be repeated.
Mizrachi played with characteristic flair and aggression through the latter stages of the Main Event, making the final table one of the most entertaining in recent WSOP history.
The Main Event marked Mizrachi’s eighth career bracelet and pushed his lifetime tournament earnings close to the $30 million mark. His 2025 WSOP haul alone totaled $11,372,233. Remarkably, his only other cash in 2025 prior to the summer came in a $5,000 charity event in January.
Talking to PokerOrg after his historic win, Mizrachi said, “I can't even fathom this. I played the best poker of my life. It was just fate. I knew I was going to win it. I can't explain the feeling. It's amazing."
In an unprecedented move, Mizrachi was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame immediately following his Main Event win — despite Nick Schulman already having been inducted as the Class of 2025.
Mizrachi becomes GGPoker Global Ambassador
On signing for GGPoker, Mizrachi said, “After winning the Main Event and going straight into the Hall of Fame, I was looking for a partner that matches my ambition, and GGPoker is simply the future of the game. I’m ready to represent GGPoker globally and bring the passion of ‘The Grinder’ to the online felt."
Negreanu welcomed Mizrachi to the GG stable saying, “Michael Mizrachi is poker royalty. To achieve the 'Double' - winning the Poker Players Championship and the Main Event in the same summer - is a feat we may never see again. That kind of enduring greatness belongs on the GGTeam. We are thrilled to welcome The Grinder and look forward to an even more exciting future together."
GGPoker owns the WSOP brand and that means you’re certain to see Mizrachi playing at WSOP Paradise this December, where he’ll look to make his 2025 even more incredible, by winning the $60 million guaranteed Super Main Event as well.
It hasn’t been confirmed whether he’ll enter the $250K Triton Invitational, but it seems highly likely. Details on VIP and player partnerships for the event are expected soon.
