Hustler Casino Live and the Onyx Club at Merit Royal Hotel Casino & Spa announced a partnership on Monday that will see the show take its offerings from its home in Los Angeles to the sunny climes of Cyprus. From November 23-December 1, HCL and the Onyx Club will play joint host to a festival of high-stakes cash games, all streaming live from the new state-of-the-art set.
Nik Airball returns
Ryan Feldman, co-founder of Hustler Casino Live, will lead the charge to merge his group of regulars with the Onyx Club regulars for a week of juicy poker games. Feldman will likely bring a cohort of HCL's most popular – and gamble forward – players. Amongst those potentially making the trip are Rob Yong, Charles Yu, The Professor, Santhosh Suvarna, and, most notably, Nik Airball.
While still on an extended hiatus from the show due to a casino compliance issue, Airball will make his triumphant return to the HCL airwaves in Cyprus. Airball hasn't made an appearance on HCL since March 22 and his absence from the show's Million Dollar Game lineup back in May drew questions about his ability to play on Hustler Casino premises.
Feldman and Onyx Club excited by new partnership
As part of the announcement, Feldman said: “It’s exciting to be moving the HCL stream to the Onyx Club at Merit Royal Cyprus. There is a big time difference between LA and Cyprus but we will make the delay on the stream friendly for our regular audience.”
The Onyx Club opened at Merit Royal Cyprus earlier this year as an exclusive, invite-only members club focused on poker and gaming and played host to the PokerGO Tour's $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl in August. The purpose-built streaming room offers the ultimate experience for high-stakes poker players and adds a new element to Merit Royal Cyprus' overall draw for poker players.
