The PokerStars Open is heading into its first summer with back-to-back stops in Namur and Malaga, giving players a chance to play a lot of poker in two great locations in June.

Belgium will host their leg of the PokerStars Open in Namur from May 28– June 9 before the tour takes a trip to Spain for a week in Malaga from June 16–22

Live League hits summer leg

A new twist for 2025, the PokerStars Live League, threads the narrative throughout the season by joining 10 PokerStars stops in a leaderboard chase for a pile of money and a chance to be a PokerStars Ambassador. Live League stops cover everything from this summer's PokerStars Open events to the European Poker Tour stops in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Malta, and Prague.

The schedule for Malaga is now out, with a €1,100 Main Event with a €1 million guarantee from June 18–22. Also running is the €2,200 PokerStars High Roller from June 17–18, a Super High Roller on June 21 with a €5,000 buy-in, and the Mystery Bounty Cup from June 21–22.

Elsewhere, a €500 PokerStars Open Second Chance on June 20 and the regular Mini Main and Open Cup tournaments round out a busy seven-day schedule.

More than poker in Malaga

As always, PokerStars has stacked its stop with plenty to do off the felt, both in Malaga and Namur. Malaga's seven days will kick off with an Activity Day on Wednesday, June 18. Food, drink, padel, beach volleyball, and something called pétanque will be on offer. It's a lawn game with metallic balls, like bocce. The venue has been refreshed for 2025 with a new layout and more pool vibe.

The Talum Beach Bar will be open throughout the rest of the week with happy hours, paella, Flamenco class, Sangria, and tapas scheduled throughout the week.

In Namur, players can enjoy Belgian street food and daily happy hours, along with a football night and live DJs. The Players' Lounge will be the go-to spot for everything, with a daily happy hour and giveaways with exclusive prizes. A big football match is being played on May 31, and everyone can watch it with local craft drinks.

Belgian culture will also be on display with two special themed food days. June 5 will have crazy fries and fricadelle, which is a seasoned meat patty. The obligatory Waffle Day follows on June 6.

There are a lot of chances to win your way to Namur and Malaga for a great summer getaway, whether it's via one of the many PokerStars satellites or the PokerStars Open Passport promotion. PokerStars Live has all of the latest information for every tournament on its schedule.
