The France Poker Series (FPS) is back. PokerStars announced today tournament series will revisit favorite spots and explore new locales in its next iteration. The locations and dates for each stop on the series are as follows:
- FPS Monte Carlo - Sporting Monte Carlo, April 26th-30th
- FPS Namur - Circus Casino Resort Namur, May 12th-21st
- FPS Paris - Stade Jean Bouin, July 15th-23rd
- FPS Aix les Bains - Casino Grand Cercle Aix les Bains, September 29th-October 8th
- FPS Aix en Provence - Pasino Grand, November 10th-19th
Each stop will have both a Main Event (€1,100 buy-in) and a High Roller (€2,200 buy-in). Satellites will run online in the lead-up to each event on the schedule, giving players a chance to earn their buy-ins for less. Two types of prizes are up for grabs: seat only (€1,100 value) and seat plus expenses package (€1,500 value).
There are some new notable features on this year's schedule. At the FPS Namur stop, PokerStars will sponsor the Belgian Poker Challenge and award €1M guaranteed across all events. The FPS Paris stop will play out entirely in the famous rugby venue, Stade Jean Bouin. Additionally, that Paris main event will award €1M in prize money.
