Triton Poker, the global poker series that caters exclusively to the high-roller poker community, has announced an exclusive deal with online-staking site PokerStake. The deal will increase visibility for Triton by allowing more fans of poker to acquire a backing interest in Triton events and in players they might not otherwise have the opportunity to follow.
Triton's new partnership with PokerStake will begin in the next Triton Super High Roller Series offering. That stop begins on March 1 at Vietnam's Hoiana Resort & Golf venue in Vietnam and runs through March 13. The Vietnam series will be the first of several Triton series with backing opportunities to be featured on PokerStake throughout 2023.
It's the first major staking partnership announced for PokerStake since its renaming from PocketFives, and it continues the site's ongoing transition into a staking-dominated online poker. PokerStake is already the world's largest staking sites, and deals such as the Triton partnership promise to further strengthen the site's influence.
According to Josh Arieh, the Head of PokerStake, "I’m excited to ink this partnership with Triton Poker and give PokerStake users exclusive access to buy or sell poker action in the world’s best high-roller tournaments. If you don’t have the bankroll to mix it up at high stakes, buying a slice of someone else’s action is the next best thing - everyone’s got the chance to be part of a winning team through PokerStake!”
PokerStake began as PocketFives back in 2005 and entered the staking market in 2021, quickly establishing itself among the top players in that market segment. The PokerStake community currently boasts over 200,000 members.
