The Aria Poker Open is in the middle of another busy series at the Aria Resort & Casino, a favorite stop of many Vegas poker players. With 17 events across 22 days, there's no shortage of chances at a big score. The series is headlined by two events, the first of which begins today (Thursday, December 12).

BetMGM Poker is once again bringing two branded events to the middle of the Aria series. Today sees the start of the one-day $1,100 Mystery Bounty, which will get cards in the air at 11am. There are three guaranteed bounties, one $25k and at least two worth $10k, which players can try to pull once they reach the money and eliminate a player.

Million guaranteed in the BetMGM Championship

The biggest event of the series is the $1,600 BetMGM Championship, which boasts a $1 million guarantee. With starting flights on Friday and Saturday, players will have multiple shots to bag for Day 2 on Sunday. The final table will be streamed on Monday from the PokerGO studio

In the last iteration of this event, Maher Achour took home first place and $227,967 during the summer Aria Poker Classic. That event carried a $500k guarantee. Since Aria and BetMGM Poker have doubled that number, we'll see what big score awaits the eventual champion.
