The latest stop on the Moneymaker Tour wrapped up at Palm Beach Kennel Club in Florida and Art Peacock outlasted 310 entries to win its Main Event — his second Moneymaker Tour Main Event of the year.
Peacock previously won the big event at MGM Grand in Las Vegas in July for $358K. It's his third Moneymaker Trophy after a win for $18K in May of 2023.
'This is my hometown'
"I love the big one," Peacock told PokerOrg after the win. "It was amazing, being in Vegas. It was the biggest one I've won yet. But this is my hometown. I love Tony and all the people here at Palm Beach Kennel Club. So this one was pretty important."
Peacock cut a deal with Tony Ruberto in heads-up play to set up the win. Skip McDonough finished in third and Cory Rock finished in fourth. Steve Karp rounded out the top five.
The Moneymaker Tour will now pack up and head to Central Florida, where the series will offer 23 trophy events at the Orange City Racing and Card Club from December 4-16. Over $700,000 in guarantees are on tap with a $1,500 Main Event from Dec. 12-16.
