Friday's Big Deal for One Drop at Resorts World Las Vegas continues to add prizes and star participants as it helps continue to support the Guy Laliberte-founded One Drop Foundation's continuing effort for safe water around the globe. In an event with a Formula 1 theme, an 'Ultra VIP' F1 prize package has been added to an already impressive list of prizes.
The special package, crafted around the Monaco Grand Prix in May 2025, would be the dream of any Formula 1 fan. The package is donated by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and includes:
- Two VIP passes to the qualifying rounds
- Two VIP passes for race day
- Two private invitations for a VIP reception at the Palace of Monaco over the May 2025 race weekend
The Monaco package is just one of several valuable prizes to be awarded. Most of the prizes are F1-related, including other elite race packages. The published list of prizes also includes these items:
- An October 2025 Singapore Grand Prix VIP experience for two. The package also includes private suite and hospitality tickets.
- A Montreal Grand Prix VIP experience for two. Donated by the event's promoters, Grand Prix du Canada, the experience includes platinum tickets, VIP hospitality access, and two passes to the June 2025 Ritz Carlton Grand Prix party.
- A 'sustainable future of racing' experience for four at the 2025 AAB FIA Formula E World Championship. This includes VIP hospitality as guests and is hosted by the Mahindra Formula E team.
- A Michael Schumacher helmeted portrait. This limited edition, hand-embellished 41” canvas was created by official F1 painter and sculptor Paul Oz, who will be in attendance at Friday's One Drop event.
- A DJ 'booth experience' for four with WPT ambassador and recording star Steve Aoki, including a meet and greet with Aoki. The winner's group experiences the show from the extended DJ booth and enjoys bottle service and hospitality, courtesy of Aoki, with the prize donated by event co-sponsor WPT Foundation.
- An Ultra-limited-edition Dos Caras hand-numbered Gran Embajador Tequila, courtesy of Dos Caras. The bottle is valued at more than $10,000.
More attendees announced
The list of F1 drivers and poker pros who will attend Friday's festive event continues to grow. Mario Ho, Antonio Esfandiari, and Jeff Gross will play, while Phil Hellmuth, as previously announced, will emcee the event.
On the racing side, former Formula One drivers David Coulthard, Martin Brundle, and Alex Wurz had previously been announced. They've now been joined as attendees by Otmar Szafnaeur, along with F1 painter Oz and F1 photographer Kim Illman.
The event begins at noon in the Allé Lounge on 66 inside Resorts World LV. Once the poker is complete, festivities include after-party access to Resorts World's Zouk nightclub, with Kaskade and Deadmau5 performing.
One Drop founder Guy Laliberte, who also founded Cirque du Soleil, will participate in this event. "In the past 12 years, One Drop has created iconic poker tournaments that are going to be in the big history book of poker for a long time," he said. "The Big Deal for One Drop is going to be one of those, for the fun aspect and for the people it will draw. I haven’t played poker much lately, but I really look forward to playing this one. I think the intensity of poker and adrenaline of Formula 1 in Las Vegas are a perfect match, especially since the funds raised will support the vital cause of safe water."
