Benny Glaser, born June 7, 1989, grew up in Southampton, England and, like many other top-level professional poker players, developed an early interest in games of skill and strategy. In his youth, Glaser excelled in both chess and backgammon – honing talents that would aid him greatly in the future. When Glaser inevitably turned to poker, he dedicated his time to learning and understanding the intricacies of mixed games, rather than focusing solely on no-limit hold'em like many other professionals of his generation.
In 2015, Glaser travelled to Las Vegas for his first World Series of Poker experience – and made an immediate impact with a win in the $1,500 Limit Triple Draw Lowball for $136,215 and his first bracelet. The following year, Glaser returned to Sin City and one-upped his prior haul, winning his second and third bracelets in the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better and $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship for $244,103 and $407,194 respectively. With near-instant success on poker's biggest stage, Glaser established himself as a force to be reckoned with in all mixed games events.
In the years since, Glaser has gone on to amass bracelet after bracelet across a wide variety of poker disciplines. In 2025, he won three bracelet events in a single summer – taking home the gold in the $1,500 Dealer's Choice 6-Handed, the $1,500 Mixed Omaha 8 or Better, and the $2,500 Mixed Limit Triple Draw for a combined total of well over half a million dollars.
Glaser has also proven himself in large-field, no-limit hold'em events. In 2022, he finished runner-up in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas for a personal best score of $2,830,000.
Glaser's success in live poker arenas represents only half of his body of work. In the online arena, he's proved his dominance in the mixed games time and time again. As 'RunGodLike' on PokerStars, Glaser has amassed a trophy case full of Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) and World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) titles.
While he's not busy crushing the live tables at the WSOP or battling with the online wizards on PokerStars, Glaser dabbles in poker coaching and enjoys musical pursuits.
