The top 25 players in the February 26 Mega Monday satellite will receive prize packages to attend the World Poker Tour (WPT) Voyage, a tournament series set aboard a Virgin Voyages cruise ship in the Caribbean.
Each package includes a cabin aboard the ship and $1,000 to spend on the journey, which embarks from Miami on March 31.
The week-long voyage takes in Grand Cayman and Bimini Bahamas before returning to Florida on April 6. The 20-tournament schedule includes a WPT Prime event and multiple high rollers, as well as a WPT Championship Event with $1m guaranteed. Cash games will also run each night.
There's more on the WPT Voyage below, but first here’s how you can win your cabin.
$125k in prize packages GTD on Mega Monday
The Mega Monday satellite starts at 8:30pm ET on Monday, February 26, and is available to ClubWPT Diamond members. $5k packages will be awarded to the tournament’s top 25 finishers.
These packages include a Sea Terrace cabin for the seven-day cruise with food, essential drinks, wifi and gratuities for two people included. $1k in cash, exclusive merch and a VIP host will also be thrown in, as well as the chance to meet and greet the WPT talent on board.
ClubWPT is the World Poker Tour’s subscription-based online poker platform, giving players the chance to compete in ring games and tournaments for free, and for fun.
Paying subscribers, known as VIPs, are eligible to win cash and prizes worth over $100k a month. Top tier subscribers - Diamond members - have access to tournaments with bigger prize pools, as well as qualifying opportunities for live packages, such as Mega Monday. Make waves in WPT Voyage’s $1m GTD Championship Event
The cruise departs Miami on March 31 and wastes little time in getting the action going, with satellites and tournaments starting that night. The following day marks Day 1 of the $5k Championship Event with $1m GTD, which will play out over three days.
A WPT Prime event will feature a $1,100 buy-in and a $500k guarantee, with three starting flights available, while a $10k high roller and $25k super high roller are also scheduled. Other tourneys include HORSE, PLO, mystery bounty and ladies’ events, with nightly hold’em tournaments available from $150.
Being a cruise around the Caribbean, there is more than just the poker to keep guests entertained. Planned activities when docked include a golf tournament with Phil Ivey (below) and Matt Savage, a tennis tournament with Tony Dunst, and a pickleball tourney with Vince Van Patten.
