The fourth edition of GGPoker's Super MILLION$ Week is underway at GGPoker, with new high marks for the number of events on tap and the total guaranteed prize money, $40 million, to be won. This latest edition of the Super MILLION$ Week has been expanded to include 72 events and will stretch for two weeks, rather than one.

The series, which caters to high roller, kicked off on Sunday with a Super KICKOFF Bounty Hunters event featuring a $525 buy-in and a $1.5 million prize pool guarantee. The $525 buy-in marks the bottom rung of entry fees for this high-roller series, and other events' buy-ins can range as high as $25,550, which is the entry fee of several different super-high-roller events over the coming weeks.

The last handful of the 72 Super MILLION$ Week events begin on February 6, 2022, and several of these will run over into the following Monday, meaning a full 16 days of action in the series. The large majority of the events being offered are no-limit hold'em, but there are a few "Omaholic" (pot-limit hold'em) tourneys and a couple of short deck events as well. Various formats are mixed into the series, including bounty events, knockout tourneys, deep-stack events and what's billed as "poker's largest freezeout," one of the 18 separate events in the series offering a guaranteed $1 million prize pool..

$5 million guaranteed main event highlights series

The GGPoker Super MILLION$ Week includes a main event with a $5 million prize-pool guarantee as its prime offering. Five different Day 1 flights, available through Sunday, January 30, offer plenty of chances to enter this $10,300 tourney. Day 2 action and beyond in the main event marks much of the series' second week.

In December, in the third edition of a series that now looks as if it will be offered several times each year, Belgian pro and current UK resident Bert "Girafganger7" Stevens cam from well behind at the final table to notch another big win. Stevens entered the final as the short stack but surged to the title and a $1,125,181 payday.

The final table in the Super MILLION$ Week main event will be streamed as well on GGPoker's dedicated YouTube channel, at ggpoker.tv. The stream is currently scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 1, at 6:00 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
