Online giant GGPoker will be sending many hundreds of players to the World Series of Poker this summer, each hoping to follow in some celebrated footsteps by spinning up a cheap satellite entry into a life-changing payday. The global operator has set an informal target of sending 1,000 players to the Main Event for a chance to win the title of poker's world champion.

'Road To Vegas' qualifiers and step satellites are available online now from as low as $1, with the package prize at the end of the rainbow comprising:

  • Direct registration to the $10k WSOP Main Event 2024
  • $1k for travel and expenses
  • $1k for accommodation (plus discounted rates at Caesars Entertainment properties)
  • GGPoker merch and gifts
  • Access to the GGPoker Platinum Lounge

This summer’s WSOP Main Event runs from July 3, and with record numbers anticipated will feature four Day 1s as well as multiple Day 2s. The poker calendar’s showpiece event will crown a new world champion a full two weeks after its start, on July 17.

Extra $1m on offer for a GG winner

With other online operators also aiming to send players to the WSOP en masse - WSOP.com is aiming to send at least 450 - GGPoker has sweetened the pot with the promise of a huge cash gift for any of their qualifiers who win the big one.

A $1,000,000 bonus has been promised for any player who qualifies at GGPoker and goes on to win the Main Event.

Given that last year’s winner, Daniel Weinman, banked the biggest-ever WSOP ME prize of $12.1m, any GGPoker qualifier lucky and skilled enough to play their way to the title could be looking at a truly epic payout.

“GGPoker is the only place for international players to qualify for the WSOP $10k Main Event,” said the firm’s Managing Director, Sarne Lightman, “After 774 players snagged their seats with us last year, we hope to see even more on the Road To Vegas in 2024.”
