Houston poker club hosts live tournament festival Feb. 11-28
Houston is rapidly emerging as a major hub for live tournament poker in the U.S. The city functions as the heartbeat of the Texas live poker scene, with around 20 poker clubs situated throughout the Houston area.
The latest live tournament festival to hit Houston kicks off today at Prime Social. The Prime Signature Series runs Feb. 11-28, featuring multiple six-figure guarantee tournaments.
The Prime Signature Series runs as the third major poker series emanating from Houston in the past four months, and the second offered at Prime Social.
Here’s a look at the tournament schedule and how to play in the Prime Signature Series:
More than $1 million guaranteed in the Prime Signature Series
The 17-event schedule for the Prime Signature Series offers more than $1 million in combined guaranteed prize money. The series culminates in Event #15: $1,050 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, which runs Feb. 24-28 and guarantees $500,000.
The $1,100 Main Event runs as one of three tournaments in the Prime Signature Series offering six-figure guarantees.

How to play in the Prime Signature Series
You can register for any Prime Signature Series tournament on-site at Prime Social. The 23-table poker room normally features an extensive spread of cash games and daily tournaments, with the Prime Signature Series taking center stage at the club throughout the rest of February.
When you arrive at Prime Social, visit the cashier cage to register for tournaments in the Prime Signature Series. For more information about Prime Social poker club, visit the website or call the club at (832)-377-7770.
All three of the tournaments listed on the table above feature multiple Day 1 flights. The $1,100 Main Event offers four opening flights, beginning at 12 pm on each day from Feb. 24-27.
The survivors of those four flights return for Day 2 action on Sunday, Feb. 28, and play down to a winner. The last tournament festival held at Prime Social saw the Main Event end up at more than triple the guarantee.
The Lone Star Poker Series ran at the club in October and November, and the $580 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed Main Event drew 660 entries to push the final prize pool to $330,000.
Accommodations
Many hotels offer accommodations near Prime Social, but the club partnered with Aloft Houston by the Galleria to offer a special player rate.
