Baron earns $412,449 for his second win in the GGPoker weekly tournament

Baron adds second Super MILLION$ title to his resume
Baron’s poker achievements include a WSOP bracelet win, an EPT title, and a win in a 2019 Poker Masters event. He’s ranked among the top 200 all-time earners on the Hendon Mob career tournament earnings list.
Baron strikes a ubiquitous presence in the Super MILLION$, with Episode 40 marking his 26th appearance in the weekly $10,300 buy-in event. Tuesday’s action represented Baron’s third final table run among those 26 appearances, and ended in his second win.
Someone was going to come out of the final heads-up battle between Baron and Bruno Volkmann (2nd - $318,042) as a two-time Super MILLION$ champ.
Volkmann’s Super MILLION$ stats now include five final table appearances, with a win in the Sep. 22, 2020 edition of the tournament. Volkmann came up just short of his second Super MILLION$ win with Tuesday’s runner-up finish.
Super MILLION$ Episode 40 featured an uncharacteristic number of real-name-unknown players at the final table. ‘25th Baam’ (3rd - $245,244) became the first final table contender to play from Japan in the history of the Super MILLION$.
Pablo Silva (4th - $189,109), ‘Beast2018’ (5th - $145,823), and ‘7ingls7’ (6th - $112,444) all came away with top-six finishes, all earning six figures with those deep runs.
The lower part of the final table payout ladder included familiar names. Russia’s Gleb Tremzin (7th - $86,706) and GGPoker regular ‘Nator’ (8th - $66,860) bowed out before the payout structure jumped to the six-figure level.
Damian Salas (9th - $51,556), the 2020 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, finished ninth.
