The World Series of Poker announced plans to cross the pond to London for the first time in over a decade. The JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel will play host to the WSOP Super Circuit Series later this summer.
The tournament series, presented by GGPoker, will run from July 27th to August 13th, awarding fifteen prestigious WSOP Circuit Gold Rings throughout. The London series will be the first stop of the new 2023/2024 WSOPC season.
The series will mark the first time since 2010 that a WSOP event has made its way to London. The JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel promises a fantastic player experience at a venue known for hosting world-class events.
GGPoker will host online satellite tournaments for the WSOP Super Circuit Series, allowing players to qualify for events at a fraction of the direct registration cost.
The complete schedule of events is not available yet, but initial details about four events are known. The highlights thus far include the headline £3,300 Main Event, the £560 Colossus, £1,100 Mystery Million, and £10,400 High Roller.
The series will feature events with a wide range of buy-ins to encourage players of all bankrolls to participate. Be sure to check back with PokerOrg in the coming weeks for more news and a confirmed schedule.
