The Women's Poker Association (WPA), in conjunction with the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS), the Poker League of Nations (PLON) and several Las Vegas casinos, has detailed a largest-ever ladies' poker week in Las Vegas to be held during the height of this summer's poker-universe gatherings in Las Vegas.
Billed by the WPA as the Vegas Summer Camp Ladies Poker Week -- and actually stretching for 10 days, from June 26 to July 4, 2023 -- the Summer Camp focuses on not only the deepest stretch of women's poker events in history, but will include other social events as well. In the coming weeks, the WPA will publish a list of social gatherings and other happenings that will accompany the already-known poker tournaments.
As published by the WPA, the 10 days of women's poker action will feature at least 11 separate events (plus one mega-satellite) at nine different Las Vegas casino venues. Four of the tournaments are official LIPS Tour offerings, two more are Poker League of Nations (PLON) events, and all 11 tournaments will be WPA leaderboard-eligible events.
Here are the 10 women's poker tourneys already scheduled in Las Vegas between June 25 and July 4:
- June 25, 6:00 pm, MGM Resort Grand Summer Festival: LIPS $250 Kick Off Ladies Event NLH ($20,000 Gtd.)
- June 26, 1:00 pm, Resorts World LV: PLON $360 Ladies Event NLH ($35,000 Gtd.)
- June 27, 2:00 pm, South Point: LIPS $180 Mega-Satellite (1 in 10 wins a $360 seat to the July 1 LIPS main event, plus $1,050 in cash)
- June 28, 12:10 pm, Venetian Deepstack Championship: LIPS $500 Ladies Event NLH ($30,000 Gtd.)
- June 28, 6:00 pm, Horseshoe LV: WSOP $150 Ladies Warmup NLH
- June 29, 11:00 am, Horseshoe LV: WSOP $1,000 2023 Ladies Championship (4-day event)
- June 30, 1:00 pm, Golden Nugget LV The Grand: $200 Ladies Event NLH ($10,000 Gtd.)
