SCOOP Main Events running April 25

Sunday, April 25 marks Main Event day for the 2021 SCOOP. The series’ six Main Event tournaments all take place that day, with a trio of buy-in tiers available for both the No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha Main Events.

SCOOP Event #92: No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max Main Event offers a $3 million guarantee for the low buy-in tier. That event, at a $109 entry fee, will likely draw some of the biggest attendance across the series.

The medium ($1,050 buy-in) and high ($10,300 buy-in) each offer $5 million guaranteed prize pools. All three iterations of SCOOP Event #92 run concurrently, starting at 1:05 pm EDT.

SCOOP Event #93: Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max Main Event, also runs three tiers at $109, $1,050, and $10,300 buy-ins. All three begin at 3:05 EDT on April 25th, with the high tier PLO Main Event guaranteeing $1,250,000.

The SCOOP Main Events offer just a sliver of the $100 million guaranteed across the series. Several other tournaments offer prize pools in the high six-figures or more.

The low tier tournaments come at entry fees as low as $2.20, while the high buy-in events go up to $25,000 per entry.

How to play at PokerStars

The 2021 SCOOP plays out on the PokerStars main client. This online poker platform is available to players in many areas of the world but isn’t legally accessible in the U.S.

Search for PokerStars.com in a search engine to see if you’re in an area that legally offers PokerStars. If you’re in a legal jurisdiction, you’ll be able to download the PokerStars main client.

If you’re in the U.S. or any other country that doesn’t allow access to PokerStars, you’ll automatically be redirected to PokerStars.bet, the company’s play money poker site.

Players lucky enough to enjoy legal access to PokerStars’ main platform can look forward to the 2021 SCOOP kicking off with seven events (all with three tiers each) on April 4.
