James Chen bounty hunting in Las Vegas. Chen won Event #4 of the 2026 PGT PLO Series, claiming eight of the 14 bounties in play in the $10,500 PLO Quattro Bounty event. That meant his bounty haul of $132,000 outscored his first-place prize money of $107,000.
The UK's Richard Gryko was runner-up, collecting $68,400 in prize money and another $32,000 in bounties for a total haul of $100,400.

Amateur beats the pros to win the Winamax Poker Open Aix-les-Bains Main Event. 23-year-old French accountant Lucas Archeny came out on top of a stacked 2,873-entry field to win the €150K first prize. Rob Kuhn wins Caribbean Poker Series Main Event for $155,670: The ACR Poker ambassador picked up a Moneymaker Poker Tour trophy on Sunday night – and celebrated the victory in style.
First place doesn't always pay the most. Daisuke Abiko has won the APT Jeju Mystery Bounty Hunter after striking a heads-up deal with Jianfeng Sun – but Sun walked away with considerably more from the regular prize pool. Abiko took $44.6K, while runner-up Sun banked $62.8K.
Abiko did get the Mystery Bounty Silhouette Lion Trophy, another $7K in bounties and a $10K APT Championship seat – while almost tripling his previous biggest live cash.
Video captures shocking attack on player at Minnesota poker table. A video shared by TimeTravelerPoker on X is going viral. It shows an older poker player being punched repeatedly at Shooting Star Casino before the attacker throws a small table and runs away.
There are no details of what led to the altercation, and TimeTravelerPoker – who says the poker player is a friend of his – didn't record the footage himself.
Daniil Kiselev wins the 2026 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event for $1M. In the final hand, he limped 
before shoving over a raise from Mehmet Biskin. Biskin called with K-Q, but Kiselev paired his three to secure the biggest win of his career.
Speaking afterward he said, "Please, don't tell anyone about that last hand. I thought he had something weak when he made that raise, so that's why I shoved." Too late.
Alexandra Botez wins Poker Champs $250K prize: After taking out 'PaymoneyWubby' in the semi-final round, Botez defeated 'Sodapoppin' in the grand final of the ClubWPT Gold tournament.

ClubWPT Gold exiting Nevada?: Users based in Nevada have shared an email announcement from the site that states it will be "winding down" its services in the state due to operational changes made in response to regulatory action.
Sweepstakes gameplay on the site will reportedly be unavailable from September 28 onwards. ClubWPT Gold also recommends that players submit any redemption requests before October 2.
As of the time of writing, no confirmation of the announcement has come from the site.
If the news is true, and it looks to be, the timing couldn't be worse with the big winter series looming ahead.

Negreanu sits comfortably in third with only 13 players separating him from a ninth bracelet. Pedro Neves and Casimir Seire are first and second in the counts, with Leon Sturm, Renan Bruschi, Ole Schemion, and Christoph Vogelsang also amongst the Top 10 stacks.

The PokerStars Network is coming: Following the deal earlier this year that saw the online poker giant partner with FanDuel in the US and Ontario, PokerStars has confirmed that joint networks are its future.
What does this mean? Hopefully, busier lobbies and bigger tourneys. PokerStars will move from a standalone client to the in-house poker offering within brands such as Betfair and PaddyPower in the UK, for example - PokerStars' sister brands under the Flutter Entertainment umbrella.
That should bring more players as the pools from each brand come together on a single network.

The $300K win doubles her previous career-best high score of $150K, which she picked up for her run to 61st in Las Vegas.
'Slick Ric' wins the WSOP Circuit Main Event in Texas: Eric Chang won the $1,700 buy-in tourney in his home state, emerging victorious after a final day that also saw 2026 WSOP Main Event champion Lucas Jumalon run deep.

Vanessa Kade just made all 3 WCOOP Women's Event final tables: Sunday saw the Canadian play each buy-in option of this event at PokerStars, making the final 9 in all 3 of them.
She ended up coming 4th in the $22 Medium event and 3rd in the $5.50 Low version, while a win in the $215 High edition brought her $4K and the first WCOOP title of her career.
Patrick Leonard wins another WCOOP: Over on PokerStars the Brit has claimed the 15th World Championship of Online Poker title of his career.
His latest win, in the $530 NLH turbo for $15,428, brings Leonard up to 15 WCOOP titles in total. Only Benny Glaser (16) has more.
Veldhuis out in 14th: The WSOP Online Main Event title won't be going to the Dutchman this year.
Veldhuis' run came to a painful end in two key hands. In the first, he lost a big flip with pocket sixes against an opponent's queen-jack. The flop and turn were clean, but a jack on the river crippled his stack.
With about four big blinds left, he took a stand with ace-four and found himself up against ace-ten. The flop saw him pair his side card to take the lead, but the turn came a ten and he couldn't find a two-outer on the river to survive.
Lex Veldhuis running deep in the $5,000 WSOP Online Main: The Dutchman's stream is live now and he's got a healthy stack late on Day 2.
There's $3,931,259 up top, along with one of the most coveted titles in online poker.
Veldhuis is also still alive in the $10K GGMillion$ NLH, nearing the money bubble – but he just took a tough beat with pocket queens against Samuel Vousden's pocket kings.
