Daniel Negreanu continued his string of impressive results in the 2026 WSOP Online on GGPoker with a final table appearance in Event #30: $5K High Roller Bounty PLO – his third in just five days.
For a poker player whose results in the live arena dwarf those in the online streets, Negreanu has proven himself a dangerous opponent in the virtual realm over the course of the week.
With a seventh-place finish in the $10K GGMillion$ PLO and a fourth-place finish in the $25K High Roller Championship, Negreanu had all the momentum headed into Friday's seven-handed final table.
Unfortunately, the end result mirrored Negreanu's previous two final table appearances as he was eliminated in sixth place – cashing for $43,641 plus bounties, but still on the hunt for a ninth WSOP bracelet.

Strike three
In the early goings, Negreanu scored a full double up through Finland's Markus Ristola. The two players got all the chips in on a board reading 
.
Negreanu was a favorite to win it with 
against Ristola's 
, but had to fade a decent portion of the deck to survive. The 
river was a clean one, taking Negreanu from sixth in the counts all the way up to third.
The short-stacked Ristola busted shortly after to deliver a pay jump to the remaining six players.
And then it all went wrong for Negreanu.
With two limps ahead of him, he picked up 
on the button and fired in a pot-sized raise. Anatoly Zlotnikov responded with a pot-sized raise of his own from the small blind. Negreanu, the covering stack, raised again and the chips went in. Zlotnikov had a predictably similar holding with 
. The 
runout was a brutal one for Negreanu as his opponent went runner-runner to make the nut flush.
And, to add insult to injury, another player at the table revealed his mucked holding that contained three hearts.
After the tough beat, Negreanu was left with the second-shortest stack in play – and just a few hands later it was all over.
Negreanu made a pot-sized raise with 
and picked up action from Blaz Zerjav in the big blind. The 
flop saw Negreanu connect with top pair and he fired out a pot-sized bet. Zerjav responded with a raise to put Negreanu all-in and the Canadian called it off.
Zerjav showed 
for middle set and a flush draw – a hand that had Negreanu in seriously bad shape. The turn 
brought emergency flush outs for Negreanu, but the river 
sealed his fate.
"Nothing we can do there, guys," Negreanu said to his livestream viewers. "Did our best, but once again not quite enough."
