How long does it take to walk the entire Las Vegas Strip (in 105° heat)?

PokerOrg's Sammie Gruber has ceded a measure of control over her decision-making to a wheel of chance. While she's in Las Vegas this summer – working hard to bring you top-notch content – Gruber has committed to spinning this wheel once a week and doing whatever activity it lands on.

Gruber's past wheel spins have kept her confined to a casino for 24 hours (with the possibility to eat her way out, literally, as every hot dog consumed lowered her sentence by an hour), forced her to accept any $10 prop bet offered to her at the World Series of Poker, and buy 400 jello shots

If you've ever been to Las Vegas during the summer months, you know the heat can reach unbearable levels on any given day – most, actually. Gruber learned this lesson the hard way when she recently spun the wheel and it landed on the 'Walk the entire Las Vegas Strip' option.

10,762 steps, 4.87 miles, and 2 hours and 37 minutes (including breaks), Gruber crossed another wheel-dictated assignment off of her list.

Tattoo time

Clearly, Gruber is invested in the wheel grind – she's sticking to the will of the spin the whole way. Soon, she'll have actual skin in the game as the wheel has decreed a tattoo as her next assignment.

Adding to the theme of this self-inflicted quest, she's leaving the tattoo's content up to chance as well, crowd-sourcing ideas (within reason) to add to another wheel before following her randomized destiny. Gruber's latest assignment will no doubt leave the most-lasting impression (permanent, one might say) on both her and the overall endeavor.

Here's hoping the wheel is kind to her. Or, at the very least, humorous.
