The Moneymaker Poker Tour will be returning to Florida in early December, though this time, it'll be at a brand new venue. The Moneymaker Tour has announced its first visit to the Orange City Racing and Card Club in Orange City, Florida.

The tour's first visit to Orange City will take December 4-16, 2024 and will utilize the club's 40-table layout. The Orange City club is a sister venue to the Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club, where the Moneymaker Tour has held several festivals. The newer Orange City venue sits roughly halfway between Daytona Beach and Orlando and bills itself as the closest poker room to the huge Orlando market.

Nearly two weeks of poker awaits visitors to Orange City, which also offers cash-game action and other forms of gambling. The series will offer over $700,000 in guaranteed prize money across 23 numbered events, in addition to numerous satellites into some of those events that will be offered throughout the festival.

$1,500 Main Event carries $300K guarantee

Of the more than $700,000 guaranteed throughout the series, $500,000 comes from just two prominent events, the $500 NLH Kickoff Event and the $1,500 NLH Main Event. The Kickoff event offers a $200,000 guarantee and offers eight separate starting flights, two per day beginning on Wednesday, December 4.

The $1,500 Main Event anchors down the latter part of the Orange City slate, and it offers $300,000 in guaranteed prizes. This tourney offers three separate Day 1s beginning on Thursday, December 12 through Saturday, December 14. Days 2 and 3 of the Main take place on December 15 and 16 and help wrap up the series action.

If you were born before November 21, 1975, you qualify for the seniors' event (happy birthday, Chris!) If you were born before November 21, 1975, you qualify for the seniors' event (happy birthday, Chris!)

There's plenty of variety to be found among the 23 events. There are special ladies and seniors ('Older Than Moneymaker') tourneys, bounty events, mega-stack events, a tag-team tourney and more. Pot-limit Omaha figures into the series mix as well, including two different 'Moneymaker Mix' events; one event rotates between PLO, PLO-8, and Big O, while the other mixes PLO (high only) with NLH.

The Moneymaker Tour has also created a PDF for the Orange City festival's complete schedule.
