The World Series of Poker has released official results for five more online WSOP.com bracelet events on its MI/NV/NJ platform. Events #4 through #8, featured first-time bracelet winners in four of the five events, though one of the four was a breakthrough bracelet triumph by veteran Czech star Roman Hrabec (shown above), the winner of Event #5, $333 'Triple Treys' NL Hold'em.

Hrabec was joined as a recent online winner by another European star of note, Ilija Savevski. Macedonia's Savevski, who currently plays from Austria, picked up his second career WSOP bracelet by taking down Event #7, $500 NLH PKO. Savevski was the champion of the €1,350 'Mini Main' NLH event at the 2022 WSOP Europe festival.

The other three recently completed online events were won by bracelet first-timers. Online Event #8: $1,000 NL Hold'em 6-Max

The shift in software platforms for WSOP.com's online players in Nevada and New Jersey that occurred when Michigan was added to create a three-state network carried an additional wrinkle, in that the NV/NJ players were required to re-register and create new accounts and screen names. That's resulted in an outbreak of players using the real-life names or familiar online names of other, perhaps better-known players, for any of several reasons.

That was on display in Event #8, $1,000 NLH 6-Max, where Florida's Sungbin Ma, playing as 'MikeMatusow', topped a loaded final table for his first career bracelet and $153,250, the largest payout of the online series to date. Ma knocked out Michael 'BOSCO8' for the win, leaving Bosco to collect $111,858 as the runner-up. Christopher 'pokerturo' Frank logged a solid third-place run worth $82,229

Event #8 drew 1,233 total entries, consisting of 700 unique players who also added a combined 533 re-entries. The event's $1,109,700 prize pool was split among the top 240 finishers.

Event #8 final-table results:

  1. Sungbin Ma 'MikeMatusow' - $153,249.57
  2. Michael Bosco 'BOSCO8' - $111,857.76
  3. Christopher Frank 'Pokerturo' - $82,228.77
  4. Felipe Ramos 'Mojave' - $60,922.53
