We may be less than a week into the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), but we’ve already seen a bunch of notable results.
These include the feat of ‘sixsixxsix’ of the UK, who on Tuesday managed to win both the High ($530) and Medium ($55) buy-in versions of the same event — the NL 5-card draw PKO — worth $8,972 and $2,666 respectively.
Then there’s the achievement of another Brit, Patrick ‘pads1161’ Leonard, who won the $1,050 7-Max NLH Turbo PKO just a few days into the series, and in the process joined the 20-something club of ‘COOP winners. The win marked his 9th SCOOP title, to go with another 11 won in PokerStars’ World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).
Over in the SCOOP League — a team-based competition being contested by a number of PokerStars ambassadors and their selected teammates — Ben ‘Spraggy’ Spragg’s team is leading the field at the time of writing.
But has Spraggy himself ever won a SCOOP title? Thanks to a new 'SpraggyTracker' on X, there's an easy way to check.
Any PokerStars players in the site’s global liquidity markets can grab some extra prizes, including a Power Path Gold Pass worth $10,300, by backing the winning team.
But be warned: the closing date to choose your winning team is coming up quickly. If you don’t pick your winner by Sunday, May 18, you’ll miss out on the chance to be involved.
$20K in prizes awarded on June 3
You don’t need to be an accomplished player to be in with a chance of winning a slice of the $20K prizepool, as everyone who enters has the same chance to win.
All you need to do is pick the team you think will win the SCOOP League. Teams are identified by their captains’ names, so select one from the following:
TEAM SPRAGGY

Pick your winner in the PokerStars Challenges lobby (under 'SCOOP League Challenge'). You can only choose one, so pick the team you think has the best chance of winning.
You'll also add points to your chosen team with every player you eliminate in SCOOP events, and those who KO the most will qualify for a Battle Royale with more prizes to be won, including that $10,300 Power Path Gold Pass.
Once the series is over, the team with the most points will be declared the winner and all players who backed that team will be entered into an All-in Shootout at 23:59 ET on June 3. This special tournament will see all players automatically put all-in on every hand until there’s a winner, with $20K in prizes awarded.
But here’s the thing: opt in closes on Sunday.
Head to PokerStars by then to make your choice.
