The 2026 WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker drew to a close on Tuesday. After several days of play, the field of 6,008 entrants was whittled down to a final table of nine players, all chasing the $3.9 million first-place prize and the prestigious gold bracelet.
The action was live-streamed on the GGPoker YouTube channel, with commentary from Jeff Gross and Phil Hellmuth.
While Hellmuth isn't a frequent commentator, his presence on the call supplied viewers with his perspective and yielded no shortage of unique moments – including a view from his suite at the Four Seasons in Chicago, Illinois and several bites of a slice of Giordano's deep dish pizza. Hellmuth also provided his one-of-a-kind perspective on the play, putting his decades of experience at bracelet event final tables to good use.
Ukrainian Andrii Novak held the chip lead to start with 86.7M, good for nearly 108.5 big blinds. Simon Beckmann wasn't far behind with 70.9M (88.7BBs) while Brazil's Pablo Silva rounded out the top three on 45.7M (57.2BBs).
Novak's countryman Pavlo Yakovliev (34.4M/43BBs) was in fourth, joined in the middle of the pack by Fernando Jose Liano (33.8M/42.3BBs) and Arian Hassankashani (27.3M/ 34.2BBs). The short stacks – Yury Nadinsky (21.4M/26.9BBs), Charles La Boissonniere (21.3M/26.7 BBs), and Moyan Chen (17.6M/22.1BBs) – were tightly clustered and under heavy ICM pressure.
When the dust cleared following three and a half hours of play, Novak held all the chips in play to claim the Main Event title, the bracelet, and the seven-figure prize.

The early action
It took nearly an hour for the first knockout to arrive.
After slipping down in the counts, Silva was the first player eliminated. Beckmann's 3-bet with 
induced a 4-bet jam from the Brazilian. After a quick call, the 
runout saw both players pair their side cards – but Beckmann had the best of it.
The short-stacked Nadinsky exited soon after, re-jamming his 
from the big blind when facing a raise from the button. La Boissonniere's had an easy decision with 
. The 
runout paired both players, but the better ace held up again to send Nadinsky home in eighth place.
Hassankashani went out next, running 
into Chen's 
. The 
runout failed to provide the requisite two-outer and he hit the rail in seventh place.
After riding the wave throughout most of the final table, making ambitious calls (like the one above) and big bluffs, Yakovliev took a big flip for his tournament life. The Ukrainian opened from early position with 
and snap-called the ensuing all-in raise from Chen, who was ever-so-slightly ahead with 
. The 
runout saw Yakovliev river top pair, but Chen had a spade to give him the flush.
La Boissonniere went out in similar fashion – his 
falling to Novak's 
on a 
board.
Novak closes it out
During four-handed play, Novak and Beckmann pulled away from their opponents.
Liano ran into trouble when he committed most of his chips with 
and found himself dominated by Beckmann's . The 
runout left him drawing dead on the turn.
Chen's elimination was far less standard. After defending his big blind with 
, he check-called on a 
board with bottom pair against a continuation bet from Beckmann, who had 
. The turn changed nothing, but Beckmann kept the pressure on with another bet. Chen went into the tank, burning up much of his timebank before eventually moving all-in. Beckmann called and the river completed his straight.
With the infusion of chips, Beckmann took a greater than 2-to-1 chip lead into heads-up play against Novak.
After seeing the majority of the early pots go his opponent's way, Beckmann made a misstep.
From the button, he limped in with and then moved all-in over the top of Novak's ensuing raise with . The Ukrainian quickly called and scored a full double on the runout to take the chip lead.
After a few more pots went Novak's way, it all came to an end as Beckmann sent the last of his chips in with in the face of an all-in. Novak had and held across the 
runout.
