- Event #2: $500 Industry Emplyees No-Limit Hold’em — Phovieng Keokham ($64,369)

- Event #3: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em — Antonio Galiana ($582,008)
This event sparked one of the first controversies of the series, involving Martin Kabrhel and accusations of time-wasting.
- Event #4: $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better (8-Handed) — David Shmuel ($205,333)
- Event #5: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha — Caleb Furth ($620,696)
- Event #6: $1,500 Seven Card Stud — Dan Heimiller ($106,839)

- Event #7: $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship — Artur Martirosian ($500,000)
Russia's Martirosian overcame an incredibly talented field to win this prestigious title.
- Event #8: $1,500 Dealers Choice — Benny Glaser ($150,245)
- Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship — Ryan Bambrick ($470,437)
Bambrick faced Daniel Negreanu heads-up for the bracelet, and had a point to prove in denying Kid Poker his 8th WSOP win.
- Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack — Kenneth Kim ($318,842)
- Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty — Yosef Fox ($729,333)
- Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 2-7 Lowball Draw — Brad Ruben ($138,080)
- Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em (6-Handed) — Christopher Staats ($414,950)
- Event #14: $25,000 Mixed PLO/NLH High Roller — Lou Garza ($1,302,233)

Amateur player Williams almost didn't enter, but was convinced to play by his friends.

In addition to his first-place prize money, Lavin also won a million dollar bonus courtesy of a promotion with ClubWPTGold.

- Event #22: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed High Roller — Blaz Zerjav ($1,734,717)
A controversial moment at the final table involved Zerjav, in a big pot versus Chris Moorman.
