Michael Addamo comes up just short of Super MILLION$ win No. 4, finishing second

Episode 41 in the GGPoker Super MILLION$ High Roller series came down to a pair of poker's most prolific tournament players. Michael Addamo survived into the final two, looking for an unprecedented fourth Super MILLION$ title.

The next Super MILLION$ championship for Addamo will have to wait, however. Yuri Dzivielevski outdueled Addamo in the heads-up portion of Episode 41, taking home his first championship in the weekly $10,300 buy-in tournament at GGPoker.

Dzivielevski earned $408,406 in the win. Tuesday’s action marked the fourth Super MILLION$ final appearance for the Brazilian tournament pro, who now claims more than $2.76 million in career GGPoker earnings.

Another stacked Super MILLION$ final table ends in a win for Dzivielevski

As per usual, the final table lineup that sat down for Tuesday’s action represented an ultra-tough field. Addamo ($314,924), arguably the world’s best tournament player over the course of the past year, made his sixth Super MILLION$ final table run Tuesday, coming up just short of the win.

Addamo entered the final table as the tournament chip leader and the favorite to win, according to the PokerShares betting odds.

Isaac Haxton (3rd - $242,839) entered final table play eighth of nine in the chip counts. Not surprisingly, however, the high-stakes tournament fixture spun that up into a third-place finish, despite beginning Tuesday’s play with just under 13 big blinds.

Yet another high-roller regular, Joao Vieira (4th - $187,255), took away a fourth-place finish and nearly a $200k payday. The Portuguese superstar made his fourth Super MILLION$ final table appearance in Episode 41 and went over $4.7 million in career earnings at GGPoker.

Other final table finishers included ‘DrMikee’ (5th - $144,393) and Thomas Muehloecker (6th - $111,342). The Austrian pro Muehloecker added his deepest career Super MILLION$ finish to a resume that includes more than $7.5 million in live earnings and more than $3.3 million in GGPoker cashes.

Rounding out the final nine were Chris Puetz (7th - $85,856), Aliaksei Boika (8th - $66,204), and Connor Drinan (9th - $51,050).

Episode 41 of the Super MILLION$ High Roller drew 202 entries, with the final prize pool ending up at $2,020,000.
