Known far and wide by her nickname, ‘Baby Shark’, Christina Gollins is now a Nevada native with a resume stacked with tournament victories. Her biggest win to date came at the WSOP Circuit Commerce stop in spring 2024, where she won her second WSOP-C ring along with over $105K, topping a field of over 1,400 players.
Pre-poker, Gollins studied psychology and communications - a solid basis for a poker player - falling in love with the game during her time at Arizona State University. She then went on to work in property management, and transitioned from casual cash to professional tournaments. Around 2020, she dedicated all her time to focus on building success in tournament play with excellent results; at the time of writing she has close to $1M in recorded tournament earnings.
Always an entertaining figure in the poker world, Gollins can often be seen playing on live streams or adding color from the commentary booth. Her unfiltered takes on the state of the game are another reason she’s one to watch, and she’s always been keen to share her opinions with PokerOrg readers.

Many players would bust out to this cooler, but Gollins somehow managed to find the preflop fold, losing the minimum amount of chips and going on to take down the tourney.
Gollins’ best result at the World Series of Poker to date is a final table finish in the 2022 Ladies’ event, but with her determination, focus and love of the game, we’re betting it won’t be long before she straps on a WSOP winner’s bracelet.
